Edwards Air Force Base is a United States Air Force installation located in Kern County in southern California and is about 100 miles from Los Angeles. Edwards AFB is home to the 412th Test Wing, the United States Air Force Test Pilot School, and NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center. There are 10,000 Active Duty Military, Family Members, and over 8,000 Military Retirees that call this western Mojave installation home.
